Once again, another midnight post.
Shabbies is gonna get a new lycosa :) Actually, I'm bringing it back to BanLeong for an RMA. Hopefully, they give me a new batch without the same issues, it sucks man, like real badly, to have this problem on such a nice looking keyboard.
You know, somethings are real fun to know about. While showering today, I got the sudden urge to put the toilet seat down after pooping. THEN MY MUM TOLD ME TO PUT THAT THINGY BACK UP AFTER POOPING. Hmm, it seems pretty odd that my mum's telling me to do so, when I remembered clearly that its more courteous to have the seat down, at least do it for the ladies (and hell no, I'm not implying that my mum's not a lady!)
I'd figured I should google about it and guess what, some genius actually did a debate with his wife about it and their conclusion, through mathematical calculations of probability, it makes more sense for the seat to be down, simply because its more likely that when someone (guy/girl) goes to the toilet, the business at hand has to be done with the butt on the seat. Interesting...

I had this exact converstation with my fiance once. We came up with an answer that made sense to me.
Putting the toilet sead down is a cortesy developed through mathematical probablity and common courtesy. Here's the rationale:
1 - I'm just assuming this one since I have never watched a woman's rest room or taken a survey. Women make up approxmately 50% of the population. Most (if not all - just assuming) women pee sitting down. That means its reasonable to assume that over 25% of all activities related to women relieveing themselves on a toilet occur while they are sittion down.
2 - Most if not all women go #2 while sitting on the toilet. Standing would be too messy. Again, women make up 50% of the population. So that means that 50% of the population relieves themselves while sitting on the toilet every time.
3 - Most (if not all) men go #2 wile sitting on the toilet. Therefor, it is reasonable to assume that men only reqire the toilet seat to be in the upright position while peeing. Men make up approximately 50% ofthe population. Let's assume that men go #2 20% during of their trips to the toilet. That adds 10% to the women's total of 50 of toilet useage while siting.
This mathematical formula states that 60% of the toilet useage for the entire population is completed while in the sitting position. Since more than half of the useage is in the sitting positon, common courtesy states that the toilet seat should be in the lowered position for shared restrooms.
Men don't bother closing the lid in restrooms where only men use the toilet. Why bother? We'd just be making more work for the next guy.

Oh man, pure genius. Shabbies is for once, impressed.
Oh and driving today's been real fun, I finally got to the part about horizontal parking. Its not as bad as it seems, and its real cool to have someone guiding you all the way. When I'm finally confident enough to do it, I cleared it once and only need 1 chance! 1 CHANCE PEOPLE, BEAT THAT. :)
Well, its gonna be a hectic buildup to NS enlistment now, with driving, CNY, and NS preparations to be done, I don't think I'll have time to go out anymore. Nicely done shabbs.
Shabbies yadayadas on
ken off.
